Wanneroo is two kinds of roof in one corridor. Around the older townsite the houses are established family homes, mostly concrete tile, with tin on sheds and the remaining rural-residential lots. Toward Banksia Grove the roofs are newer and larger, and ducted air-conditioning is why a 10kW system is the size households ask for. Tile and tin are both ordinary work here, not a special request. Crews are based at the Neerabup branch on Pinnacle Drive, the closer of the two premises and a short run from the Wanneroo townsite. A 1970s tile hip and a new Colorbond gable are drawn from the bill and the roof in front of us, not from one suburb template.
