Morley is largely 1960s to 1980s brick and tile, and the original switchboard is often what has to be replaced before a current inverter can go on the wall. The switchboard upgrade and the solar are quoted as one job, so the board does not turn up as a second invoice after the design is agreed. The roofs are older tile and smaller than the new estate stock further north. Where panels are already up, battery retrofits are a large part of the work. The suburb is inland. Cooling load and the age of the board decide the quote. Coastal corrosion hardware is the wrong spec for these streets, and it is not what we allow for.
